Hi all - I've tried looking on the Qantas website but didn't have much luck - my partner has had his flight (SEA-SFO-SYD) rescheduled to the next day due to a delay in SEA-SFO flight and therefore not being able to make the SFO-SYD flight. The rescheduled flights are now Y class (instead of L - no additional $$ paid). Does he earn the status credits on the Y or L booking?

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

In theory it's as per the original class, but if it's not it's best to stay quiet if it's in your favour.

Thanks - but this is where the problem lies. SEA-SFO changed from QF to AS booking. If this change to AS gets no SC, and he gets the 60 SC for SFO-SYD, he ends up 5 points short of Silver status with the anniversary date of 31 Jan. But if they credit him 90 SC for SFO-SYD, no problem he's over the 300 mark and attains Silver. I don't know whether he should say anything or not.

Would Qantas take pity and award Silver due to a change beyond his control?

Once flown, email QF asking for ORC (Original Routing Credits)
