Hi all,
Firstly my apologies for this thread, but I'm struggling to understand the exact SC's needed for Platinum One. Now, I know it says on the QF Website that you need a minimum of 3,600. With at least 2,700 on QF marketed flights. That seems pretty easy. On the AusBT website it says something about 2,400 to get additional platinum benefits.
So on -My Account page (QFWebsite) it says I need 765 more SC's to get additional Platinum privileges.
I have 1635 SC's for my current year.
How do I get to platinum one and/or what is the additional platinum privileges?
Cheers guys and girls.

At 2400 SC you can select from

1 Partner Gold
2 50,000 FF points
3 three valet parking vouchers

Additional platinum privileges used to be "partner gold", but now has three options, partner gold, 50,000 points or three valet or chauffeur invitations. You can make this choice once you reach 2400 SC's.

P1 is earned when you reach 3600 SC's, of which 2700 must be earned on Qantas marketed flights.

Ok, thanks Tony and Heleigh.
Thats exactly how it reads I guess. Seems strange that every tier level is basically double from NB to WP. Then it's tripple WP to get to WP1. I have a new found respect for WP1's. I thought I flew a lot, but at 3600 SC's my wife would probably not be my wife....!!! There is only so many times a QF First Lounge experience will make up for all the home absence.
Take care.

You can check the QF web site for the 2,400 privileges. That is different to P1, which, as you note above, kicks in at 3,600 SCs (as long as 2,700 of them are QF marketed).

no doubt about it - P1 requires a lot of plane time. Realistically, it requires a few long haul trips in J or F (in addition to extensive short haul flying), but there are some exceptions, depending on people's travel plans (eg a colleague of mine who flies J once a fortnight MEL - PER).
