ok after watching the animal cards come and go, i thought i'd make an effort to make a collection of this latest domino stars thing.

is anyone else collecting? they seem to be going for $1-$2 on ebay but i thought we could potentially set up a swap if anyone's interested.

i'm about 1/2 way there, with plenty of double ups.

I got 20+ tonight and I asked mum why she hasn't been collecting them. Apparently she has been giving them away to a friend.

Have completed 1 set for my child.......glad it is over.....found numbers 3, 24, 34 and 36 the hardest to get....have been giving my spares to workmates. But definitely worth the effort my prep is going well with the numbers and it is fun.

I want em for a set.... Actually use the bloody things! How many should I expect to get per shop spend? $80 gave me 4 is that right or should I be getting more?

Dominos are the best promotion they have done yet. My boys love them. Still need a few to complete each set - we are finding the late 20's the hardest to get. What numbers do you need?

Is one per $20 spent, so 4 for $80 is bang on the money.

Bound to be a zillion of them around our place, on top of our spending, bus driver gives one each night when they drop off one of my boys.

The women at work have been begging me for these (i didnt even know what they were) and were very happy when i brought some in!

abit late but this weekend was double so 2 for $20.. sorry

Our local WW had a swop day on Saturday. No. 29 was needed by 3 families including my own. Managed to get 3 of the last 4 though

The BigW 7.5% eGift card is certainly helping my boys' collection-I've barely set foot in Coles since it came out

Well the key is to look for the checkout "person" with the biggest hands as they grab a handful....even the staff are swiping them as they go to breaks\leave!
I got 5 today for $66 spend.....most popular promo to date I reckon...someone is going to get a huge bonus for this promo....I hope it's me as a shareholder ;)

Need them for the grandkids.I always tell that at the checkout.Works on young males who give me a few more.
Check what items give you bonus dominoes.
Staf are taking a risk-know the local Woollies manager and staff taking them can be sacked.

Us too. Working on a second for younger brother (only 3 so not so bothered as the 6 year old)

Got 9 for a $7 spend :)

Just gotta be thick skinned and ask.

This usually works - I hinted at a young guy at the self checkout for a couple more and he proceeded to tell me that "they aren't free as Woolworths have to pay for the dominos to be produced, hence why we only get 1 per $20 spent and if I required more for my collections then I would have to purchase more items to cover the cost of them". I laughed at him and walked out. Next day had a lovely young lady give me a huge handful.

It really does vary from staff member to staff member as to how many packets you can get each time.

The checkout operator didn't want to give me any yesterday as her box was empty. I asked whether every register was out of stock and reluctantly she went to another register to get some dominoes for me.

Surely you wouldn't be the only one in her line that wanted them....

We've just managed to get the full set. We've had family members and friends collecting for us which really helps.

Same here. Finally finished the set this weekend with the assistance of both grandparents, happy kid.
