Travel Daily tells us that Star Alliance is to make a major new announcement tonight. My apologies if there is already a thread on this, by my excitment that it could be Virgin Australia may be clouding my vision!

Could this be just confirmation Air India is now in the Alliance? They are supposed to be in by July 31st 2011. I'd be stoked if it is anything to do with VB!
