SriLankan Airlines to join OW will it include SEZ?

Hey

As [FONT=arial, sans-serif]SriLankan Airlines is supposed to join OW from 1 May, will their flight SEZ to CMB be part of OW as its on their "budget" carrier Minh Lanka.[/FONT]

[FONT=arial, sans-serif]My plan is to start a LONE4 somewhere in Africa (currently JNB cheapest to start) but maybe when SEZ comes one (if it comes on) it might be cheaper?

Also it looks like it takes a while for OW to update their PDF schedules when an airlines joins, as when US airways joined this month the downloadable PDF still not showing US Airways flights, eg: LIS - CLT

I'm confident in saying that it's not possible to exclude a particular flight from oneworld, when the carrier itself is in oneworld.

SEZ has long been the cheapest origin for xONEx itineraries. If CMBSEZ remains a UL flight then there's no doubt that oneworld will update the fares for products originating in SEZ.

It seems unlikely, as according to Wikipedia Mihin Lanka is owned not by Sri Lankan Airlines directly, but by the Sri Lankan government.

Well there you go. I had wrongly assumed CMBSEZ was operated by UL.

As it is a few more days until SriLankan actually joins OneWorld, it will be interesting to see if Mihin Lanka is included as an affiliate.

Interestingly, the tag from Seychelles to Nairobi which was in the original announcement seems to have disappeared as far as SriLnakan Air is concerned.

Can I start a LONE4 from SEZ?

Also any change in LONE price now starting from CMB?
