Query - and have emailed SQ, but are yet to receive a response. Am flying on EY from Brisbane to Singapore, staying overnight in Singapore and then taking an SQ (MI operated) flight the next morning. If travelling with carry-on luggage only, am I able to check-in for the SQ flight online before I leave Brisbane and then just pick-up a boarding pass at the transit desk (airside) in Singapore or do I have to clear immigration and go through the process at the check-in desk the next morning? Assistance would be greatly appreciated. :D

I had a similar thing to this for a pax for whom we purchased a MI ticket at the Changi T2 whom had departed Brisbane that same day.

The baggage counter staff landside, said that the pax needed to come and see them so that they could check the details.

As it turned out, when the pax arrived we just took them to the MI 'airside' transit counter whom checked the passport and ticket details.

When catching a flight recently at MNL they also seem to have a check where the airline actually wants to sight the person, the passport and the boarding pass prior to making it to the boarding gate. As this had not been done, my travel buddy was paged and this was done.

So, in my experience, you can travel with your online boarding pass and once you get to SIN you should expect to swing by the MI transit desk.

Awesome - thanks Alby! Appreciate the advice - can stay in the transit hotel now! Cheers, SuzieQ

As needing to front to the transit desk, no need to to even travel with or print online boarding pass, just do OLCI and get them to print it at the transit desk.
