I Have a booking coming up and wondering what I might receive in the way of upgrades and perks etc. I have dropped from Plat to Gold and have a Junior Suite booked.
Anyone have any knowledge

I've stayed there as a platinum in a superior room and received zip. Having booked a suite hopefully you'll receive some recognition for your loyalty. Having attained WP again I haven't seen much value this year.

As a platinum at Sofitel Wentworth I usually get chocolates, wine and fancy water but no appreciable room upgrade.

Yesterday's experience as gold:
- chocolates
- drink voucher x 1
- card that allows you to choose food and bevy or 300 points

No upgrade.

Thanks for the info, will be interesting to see if they are consistent with the rewards. What was the value of the food and bevy?

I think I saw a fruit plate as an option for food plus 2 other things.
Drink option may have been a beer, wine or soft drink.
Neither interested me so I took the points.

Looks like my post was incorrect and needs to be retracted. Upon reviewing some photo albums I noticed a pic from the Sydney Sofitel. It seems I did indeed receive benefits.
