Hi all,
Apologies if this is in the wrong section - I'm new and still reasonably confused as to where I should ask questions.

I'm thinking about trying to upgrade from PE to J (QF B747) on points but I'd like to clarify something.

Does the window seat passenger have to jump/crawl over the isle seat passenger if their bed is out flat? Or is there room at the end to squash through? I believe I'll be flying one of the old B747s with the Skybed Mk1, which I imagine would actually be easier to climb over since it's lower at the foot-end.

Thanks!

Yes you have to climb over but it is still easier than in Y or Y+. If careful you can climb over without disturbing the other person.

Reasonably easy to 'hop over', especially as you can (lightly) pivot on the capsule-back in front (if you need to) without disturbing the in-front pax.

Easy to hop over.

If it's a MK11 version - the big tip (thanks serfty) is to take a rolly bag and jam it under the end of the bed when it's in bed mode......the things have a developed a significant brewers like droop that can cause lower back pain.

Thanks for the replies everyone!
I love having the view of the window seat, yet I'm sure I've got the smallest bladder of any human. I'm fairly young, thin and fit so I guess I could go for the window seat and be able to get past the other passenger without too much of a disruption.
Thanks again!

Or try and get an exit row (best) or bulkhead (next best) as it's easier.
