Hey Guys,

We booked some time ago return Flexi flights MEL-SIN through VA which will be flown by Singapore Airlines, I'm also VA Gold.

Does this enable us to change flights/Destination or upgrade to business with points?

Mrs D will be 32 weeks pregnant and it will be quite uncomfortable 9 hours in Econ

That's right, no VFF point upgrades on SQ.

I got quoted a bit under $2k for a J upgrade MEL-SIN-NRT, so probably about $1k MEL-SIN - essentially, same as if originally booked in J.

That said, SQ Y isn't too bad. I've been quite impressed with their product. Just hope for a half-full plane.
