Singapore Airlines flight\ticket still allow credit to Virgin Velocity program?

So on Singapore metal and can elect to be credited Virgin FF points still?

Yes. VA or SQ code on SQ metal gets points and status credits. VA code on SQ metal also gets VA status bonus if you have VA status.

Just make sure that the fare you have purchased from Singapore Airlines is eligible for the status credits and points earn. I don't believe all fare classes earn.

With Velocity all publicly available commercial fares earn status credits but the cheapest only earn 10% points! Those in this lowest category actually only earn points on Krisflyer and Velocity, but not on any other partner programs.

Interesting - thanks for the heads up. I was of the impression that there were some fare classes that didn't quality for SC's, but I happily stand corrected.

There may be some group and/or package fares that don't, but anything through the SQ website or a "normal" flight booking through a TA should earn at least something.

I have mentioned this on a thread but the most recent trip to Vietnam was purchased via Webjet.
I gave Webjet one VFF number as they would not allow both numbers to credit the points to Virgin on a Singapore flight.
The points have not arrived from 30th Nov, returned in the Virgin account.
Rang webjet and they said ring Singapore KF.
Rang KF and they said claim missing points for each account....hence have to create another KF account.
Like american airlines should the missing points be directly credited to the Virgin website?
If they have to first be credited to the KF service.....will a cheap Economy Brisbane to Hanoi and a discounted Economy Cambodia to Brisbane(Upgrade was not possible hence I think cheap ticket) ticket be over 5000KF points?
As you are aware 5000 is the min to transfer back to Virgin account as not certain they will have...use Krisflyer points before expire.

Do you want to credit the points and status credits directly to Velocity? If that's what you want, then you don't need to involve KF at all. Just login to your Velocity account and submit a missing points claim. You have to wait at least 14 days from when the flight was taken, so the system should let you submit it from Monday (ie 14 Dec).

I don't use KF so have no idea about the number of miles you'd accrue if you credited to KF rather than Velocity. If you decide to credit to KF first then transfer to Velocity, the number of miles will be divided by 1.35 when you complete the transfer to Velocity (ie if you transfer 5,000 KF miles to Velocity, you'll get approx 3,703 Velocity points).

Well created account and 3 of the 4 flights were immediately credited in KF account..... The return trip from Singapore not yet?
Did not know I could do missing points from Virgin website after a Singapore flight..... Grrrr

You have to divide by 1.35 when you transfer in either direction.

Looking at both websites, the mile/point earn rate for SQ flights through both programs should be identical except for R class (where KF earns double the Velocity rate), so if you flew in Business or Economy and you wanted to maximise your Velocity points, you could/should have credited direct to Velocity.
