Hi

I have been using AA miles for a while now, goes back to when the AUD:USD was very good and the offers were 2:1, initaly I flew with Thai, but last couple after the change with Etihad, and back then availability was no problem, I'm now trying to go in August and I cant find a thing, with anyone not a seat.

I'm trying go from BNE/SYD/MEL to Dublin or London of required in Mid August and back early Sept.

I have KVS tool, and I seem to struggle with that as well.

Anyone have any tips, thanks for any help, this is a great site.

How on earth did you use AA miles to fly with Thai??? Neat trick that!

it was back when it was Us Airways before the change over to AA and you used star alliance airlines, I flew SYD - LHR return on 15th Dec and 5th Jan only booked on 1st Dec, it worked out at $2700 in F!! at the time the AUD was stronger than the USD and there were some 2:1 offers, I stocked up back then and trying to use the last of them now. the good old days I suppose

any tips on how to get to London/Dublin in August, I cant find a thing!!!

I can find lots of availability in mid August in business class. E.G.

Friday 12 August QF83 SYD-HKG then BA28 HKG-LHR.

Lots of other variable routes around that date.

Thanks for looking for me, what site are you using, I am using the KVS tool, I have attached a screen shot and QF83 no availability.

I also just checked the AA site and put up the screen shot and nothing there,

I'm also seeing availability on various combinations of QF/BA in August/Sept with both Business and First Saaver. I've not followed through to check if this is actual vs ghost availability and I'm only searching for 1 seat.

(PS: Yes, using the AA search as per post #7, searching SYD-LHR)

Thanks all the stuff that comes up for me has 1 flight in economy, I cant seem to find anything at all.
