Hi All, planning business trip MEL to Ho Chi Minh City in a few weeks (flying Y class though 
). Best options seem to be direct MEL-SGN QF337 (Vietnam airways) or via SIN (QF35 and 3Kxx_). Need SCs to ensure retain Gold by April. From what I can see, Vietnam Air isn't a OneWorld airline so concerned about not earning SCs even though the calculators seem to suggest 80SCs for the return trip booked either of the ways above. Points not such a big issue for me. Would appreciate any clarification. Thanks, Mike
