Hi all.

I flew MEL-SYD twice in one day recently, I noticed that the points and SC are not showing up in my account for the 2nd flight.

I am obviously going to call Qantas to sort it out but I was wondering if this was a known issue?

I found a thread vaguely related to this (from 2007) but it has since been closed.

It's quite conceivable that this can happen. It's definitely happened to me before when I used to do some status runs which shuttled back and forth between the same two points in a day.

A phone call is all it should take to get them into your account. You may need to provide a reason (but that's easy, too).

Having the same sector being flown twice in a day, or sometimes having the same flight number on two different segments (booked as seperate segments, not the through flight) can cause this issue.

Presumably it's there to prevent some posting errors (eg if you were to board one plane, disembark, reboard another). A quick call should get it sorted.

It has happened to me in the past. Call Qantas and they should be able to sort it out. Eventually....

I have done flights like this (SYD-CBR four times in two days) and they posted ok to AA. Just call QF. It is fairly unusual to do this and is more likely to be an error than some idiot actually flying to the same place twice in one day ;)
