Rydges Proirity Guest Rewards - Very Disappointed

I joined last year and thought it was a good idea as I spend 4 months away each year. However they changed the system in February. I often eat in their restaurants and partake of some mini bar. However I qualified for Platinum Status 2 months ago and haven't been upgraded. So now I don't get any of the privileges I am entitled to. I sent an email on April 26 and to today no reply. I resent another in June -yes no reply. The Priority Guest Ambassador at Rydges Plaza Cairns also sent an email in May - yes no reply. Not even the Managers of the Hotels have a phone number to ring on my behalf.

You wouldn't expect this service form the Rydges and after reading some other post it seems I am not alone. I need to book another 11 days accommodation in July and yes I will be avoiding Rydges this time. ( unless they give me a response and fix this issue )

I had similar experience in that my membership did not automatically go to platinum. I had the manager of the hotel I normally stay at send an email and it got sorted out fairly quickly. The email address they send it to was [email protected] , what email address did you send your email to? Also might me worth checking your spam filter just in case the reply ended up there.
 
I sent my email through their website. I have done this before and I was answered. A memeber of the hotel has also sent an email to them in May. I will try the above email direct and see what happens. Thanks for the tip.

I had to email to get upgraded. Took about a week.

I suspect they have been busy with issues since their website upgrade and relaunch. Not that its an excuse tho.

I shall it another try with direct email and not through Website " Contact Us" I'll wait and see. Maybe this is the issue. ? Thanks
 
I got to Platinum last year and the upgrade came through quickly. Then I requalified this year and a new card was issued before I knew it was coming. Then they changed the system for some reason and I got another new card.

My service from them in the past chasing up missing nights has been pretty good. I used the same email as richie9x above.

Hard to beat 50% off dinner in the restaurant. Provided it's not twice as expensive as anywhere else already.
