Removing Velocity Number from Booking

Hi all,

Does anyone know if it is possible to remove a velocity number from a VA booking? If so how would I do that and do you think it would effect any seat selections made (seats selected using plat status)?

I did it recently for the VA segments of a SA itinerary. VFF had been automatically added after being told by VA call centre that the SA arrangement would be in place by time of travel. I made 'WP-level' seat reservations via call centre on VA sectors (SYD-PER and PER-SYD) when VFF still linked. However, the arrangement didn't arrive in time for my flights so I removed the VFF so I could credit elsewhere.

The seat reservations remained, and as long as I flashed the card I was still allowed lounge, priority check-in etc on VA flights. Was asked at check-in if I wanted to add the VFF, but they understood why I didn't when I explained and there were no probs.
