Hi,
I'm trying to arrange some flights from Perth to Auckland for my mother in law in July. The days she wants to fly, only a "Tasman Flexi Saver" fare is available.
I recently booked some flights for my sister to come over and there were no "Tasman Smart Saver" fares available, however closer too the travel date (about 3/4 weeks), more smart saver fares became available and I booked those.
Is this standard practice? As the current flexi saver fares that are available are too expensive, so we're tempted to book Qantas or Virgin Blue (via Melb). But if there is a good chance more smart saver fares will be released, we can wait.
Any tips for getting smart saver fares? Other than booking through the Air New Zealand website?
Thanks
****EDIT***** Oops. I accidentally posted this in the wrong section - I think it should be in the Air NZ section. Sorry! Can it be moved?
