So I was browsing the Rex route map and am actually very impressed at all of their new routes. They picked up heaps in the Qld govt tender process and now have a very impressive set of destinations!

Just sharing my thoughts

Shame their fleet needs crutches and no obvious replacements

Run a tight ship and seem to very proactive in community engagement( important of course for regional routes) and active in government lobbying. Seems they position themselves as partners in helping to develop rural air services - nice positioning when putting in tenders.

They have been the most profitable Australian airline for a few years, certainly in percentage terms, and I think they even claimed to have returned more profit than VA and QF combined since 2010 or something like that, of course we all know why that is.

Yeah, does anyone make 30-40 seat props anymore ?
