Presumably they will fix this up when the takeover goes through.

Skywest website: $181

Do those (cheapest?) paid tickest have the same T's and C's as the redemptions?

On many airlines IIRC redemption tickets are more flexible etc.... so much so that a simple comparison with "cheapest available" isn't really comparing "like with like"...

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

You can usually buy fully refundable tickets with Skywest cheaper than flexisavers as well (and you get J class SC!).
I don't even bother with redeptions - waste of points and money.......

It is going to be a challenging cultural takeover - it's a very old fashioned airline and a few people I know who are in the SkyWest circle are apprehensive about the "Easterners" running regional WA routes....

My other hope is it opens the market to QF-Link on routes such as EPR and ALB - competition is needed on these two routes. Driving is usually substantially cheaper.....

Not going to happen for a long time given the new regulated route operators where appointed just last year.

My son drives the Perth /Albany route because it is Skywest pricing. It is sad that the pricing is so far out.
Maybe Virgin will read this and start fixing a business that needs fixing.

It is Anyseat. I have never seen actual award seats available on any route for any date. So I would expect the T&Cs to be the same as for the cheaper paid ticket.
