Can I please confirm with more knowledgeable people here (as too long a wait on Velocity phone line) if it says on my account to upgrade to Platinum “6 of 8 eligible sectors to upgrade”, does that mean I need to fly 2 more sectors or 6 more sectors? Sitting at 985 of 1000 status credits so thinking I will take a return flight somewhere within a day or 2 before I am to lose 100 status credits on the 18th. Hope question makes sense. Thankyou in advance.

You’ll need to fly 2 more eligible sectors to upgrade. You’ve already done 6 of the 8 required.

You need 2 more sectors

I was upgraded at 980SCs after hitting the 8 sectors so there's clearly some flex in the SC requirement at least. I did have several forward bookings at the time.
