can you tell me how to edit a post. and how to direct posts to specific people and moderator's:?:

You can only edit posts up to 24 hours
To direct post to specific person copy the thread from top of the screen & send a PM
Or the lower left black triangle for "reporting posts" that you consider not in accordance with site the t&c's. This is not a substitute for a PM

Easy answer first. Look at the bottom right of your post. There are a few options like reply, reply with quote. For posts you make there will also be an option to edit a post there for the first 24 hours. Click that allows you to edit the post and even delete the post.

If you wish a mod to look at a post, you can report it. But this is mainly for posts the break forum rules. Again look at the borders of the post in question. There is a triangle with a ! in it. This is the report function. Click on it and various options come up for reporting it.

If you wish to highlight a post for non reportable reasons you right click on the post number and that should give the option to copy a link to the post. This link can be sent to people.

I think they serve different purposes. Admin and Support are AFF official positions that could be held by anyone, in theory.

I was just being a newbie.

I understand in theory but at this point in time is that position held by a moderator?

Hi jadeqid1123,

It seems that people have answered this for me whilst I was off enjoying fathers day with my family.

As people have discussed you can use the edit post function but you can only edit your posts within the first 24hrs. If you need something changed after that you can ask a moderator to do do the change either by a Private Message (PM) or by reporting the post and asking that way. Reports go to all the mods, admin and support so are normally saved for problem posts.

To PM an individual you can do so via the Notifications Tab at the top on the right next to your name or you can click on their name in one of their posts.
