Queensland rail has released virtual tours of its trains.
Have a look at the Spirit of Queensland which features the "railbed" lie flat seat modelled on airline flat beds.
Of course the quality option is still the first class sleepers available on the Spirit of the Outback, but unfortunately not the 'lander trains. At the other extreme is the Gulflander with bench seating in original vinyl, and air conditioning operated by opening the windows. Possibly best experienced by virtual tour!
