So my wife and I are flying internationally tomorrow however we are on separate tickets. Our bookings are "linked" in the QF system but for all intents and purposes they are still separate and individual bookings (i.e. when I login I can't select a seat for her etc.)
We both had upgrade requests lodged. I am gold and she is bronze. We both have enough points in our own accounts for the upgrades.
As it is T-24 her upgrade was processed and confirmed with points deducted from her account while mine is still waitlisted and no points deducted.
I understand the QF policy is to upgrade based on QFF status but this clearly has not occurred.
I have run the QFF centre and they can't explain what has happened. Their suggestion is to continue waiting and to call back if an upgrade doesn't come through.
