If I'm not mistaken QF lease/own B747-8F x2 but they don't fly in QF colours. I think they fly with the Atlas Air colours.

Any idea as to why they are not in QF or QF Freight livery?

Doubt they will. They have more Qantas logos on them than the previous 744 freightera

My question comes from a stand point of -

1. Cheaper to operate as Atlas Air vs QF?
2. Tax dodge?
3. They pay the pilots less?
4. ......

Who knows.
Atlas operates for a wide variety of people but DHL and Amazon are painted in their paint.

Happy to be corrected but I believe it has something to do with the US air traffic rights. If QF want's to operate domestic flights in the US then they need the aircraft to be registered in the US (cabotage laws?).
