Can you tell from the seat map in "my bookings?"Its a post event listing, so you wont know until you get there, unless someone has inside info on what aircraft is scheduled.
Is QF 107 SYD/JFK the same plane or is there a change at LAX? Also if the same plane where do you enter the US LAX of JFK?

Thanks DC3 very interesting and useful I had a good laugh at Serftys list - I will show it to my daughter who is doing this trip solo.LAX. Immigration is at the first port of call in the US. Clear immigration/customs and bag-drop for LAX-JFK.
