I used the entertainment book link and got $630 down from $807 for two adults (40 something) and two kids commencing at your date (its a 25% discount online).

I think prices have gone down... recall paying $400ish for this in the past.

In my case I will stick with TDI at about $300 for a annual policy. It suits my travel needs.

I paid $350 for the same policy in July but for 2 people. My excess is $200.

If you paid $800 perhaps your policy does not have an excess.

In any case I am in the process of making a claim - that will be the true test of whether the cost is truly worth it.
