Qatar Lounges

Does anyone know which Lounge in Melbourne Qatar use for their J passengers ?

I had a feeling someone asked about this before -

http://www.frequentflyer.com.au/community/your-questions/which-lounge-is-qatar-using-20366-2.html

- but not so useful for you as no one in that thread managed to figure it out either, even after emailing the airline!

Since they seem to be using TG lounges elsewhere, my totally uninformed guess would be that the Air NZ lounge would be most likely. Perhaps the MH lounge might be another possibility.

Please let us know if you do find out though! :)

I can confirm Qatar uses the Air New Zealand lounge in MEL.

I was there last week for a flight to BKK and they called passengers for the QR flight.

Lounge was pretty good - nice looking food (some of it looked better than it tasted!) and apron views (at ground level).

Also an interesting departures screen that lists not only the time but also the tail numbers (registration) of all the aircraft operating!

The only thing that bothered me was the sloooow internet connection - like 30 seconds to load a page on gmail. I swapped computers and the second one was marginally faster. Notsure if they had wi-fi - I didn't ask.
