Qatar Airways A380 - Upper Deck Economy Question

I'll be travelling with the Qatar Airways A380-800 from Sydney to Doha (flight QR0909) this upcoming December; Qatar Airways seems to have the A380 set up such that there are a few economy seats on the upper deck, presumably available to certain PC/OW status holders. I seem to be able to access these seats, however there seems to be a controversial topic at hand: Some people claim that disembarking from the aircraft takes significantly longer if one opts for the economy seats on the upper deck.
Does anybody know/have experience with the economy seats on the upper deck of this aircraft? Where do the economy passengers disembark the aircraft from? Is there any advice for/against booking these upper deck seats?

I haven't flown it, but would assume that the upper deck lets F pax exit first, followed by J and then Y from the upper door. Therefore, the main deck does look like it would empty quicker.

Yeah, that would usually seem correct; however, some claim that they were forced to await the economy to disembark, and then make use of the internal stairs of the aircraft to go downstairs and exit from there.

Has anybody had recent experience with this?
