Qantas seating??

Hello fellow AFF members
I wanted to confirm Qantas gold status members have seating restrictions??
Eg. when making an advanced seating selection on an A330-200 rows
23 -30 are unavailable. Are other gold members experiencing the same thing??

It's common for the first chunk of rows to be unavailable even for me on Gold until T-80 hours; though sometimes I find they're really gone and booked versus just blocked.

Yes the first few rows are restricted to Platinum One, the next few restricted to Platinum until T 80 but as a Gold you have access to more seats then other members.

Most importantly you have access to exit rows as a Gold which I select on Domestic flights even has a Platinum member as more leg room and not that much further back. Select the window and you get more seat room with the window side armrest being partially removed.

That's domestic. Platinum One and Platinum have access to same seats for international flights except for exit rows.
