Booked a Price Beat Guarantee fare on Jetstar against Tiger today.
But when I asked to add the plus bundle I was told I could not add any bundles to this fare.

Pretty sure people on this forum had said they could do it.
So tried the HUACA approach and hit the same wall so just booked.

Can someone confirm if this is correct then?

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

consider it double confirmed. you have never been able to do this.

Slightly related, can you call and add a bundle if you've booked from another source (e.g. Expedia)?

No, you must add the plus bundle at the time of booking, which means you must do it through the Jet Star website. My wife booked a Jetstar fare on the Qantas website last year and wasn't given the option of selecting a plus bundle.. I confirmed with Jetstar that you can't add the plus bundle after the booking.

The plus bundle cannot be added as part of the price beat.

Not that I did it, but when I booked my F lounge runs late last year I was offered to add a bundle after a price beat. I didn't need the SC/see the value so passed, and will never know if it would actually have been possible.

You must have had an operator not familiar with the price beat rules :

Starter Fares with Plus Bundle, Starter Fares with Max Bundle, Business Fares and Business Max fares are excluded from this promotion.
