Hi everyone,

Just received a Qantas survey. It's been a while since I've received one the last one had a 100pt completion bonus this one a potential prize.

Has anyone else received this? Trying to work out if it's targeted or going to all QFF members.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Mostly asking about social media use. I added AFF as one since I posted as I was doing the survey :)

Just filling it out now. I'm Silver so clearly don't fly that often and don't usually get sent these sorts of things. I was affected by the grounding but I don't know if that has anything to do with it. My fiancee is Silver and was affected too but hasn't received one as yet. The prize would be nice!

Hey that's my prize don't press submit!

"...you will have the opportunity to be awarded one of five prizes of 50,000 Qantas Frequent Flyer Points each based on your response to our final question."

I was expecting the last question to be "What name would you like for an Asian airline and where should it be based?"

Virgin did name the Airline, why not QF do where to put an airline competition.

Mr FM and I both received surveys - we are both Gold. I answered no to doing the longer survey - it sounded like too much effort, even with a monetary inducement.

I received a survey recently. It was asking what I thought of QFF. No offer of anything for completing the survey. However I did.

We're always working to improve the Qantas Frequent Flyer program and an important part of this is understanding what our members think.
To help us with this, we'd appreciate 5 to 10 minutes of your time to rate the program and provide some feedback.

The Leading Edge, an independent market research company, has been commissioned to help Qantas Frequent Flyer
undertake this confidential survey.

It arrived a couple of hours before my free flight offer arriving. However I've been sent a few of these in the last year or so.

Because the last time a company did it, we got Vegemite 2.0

Yeah got the survey... I'd rather they simply said "We will give you 1000 points for completing" rather than entering into a competition where you may but probably won't win anything. That way there is an actual acknowledgement of the time involved rather than a chance you'll get something.

That said, I can't really turn down a chance to give QF my opinions....

Yeah just filled it in. It was pretty long and no back button was a little annoying...

My comment for the where have you seen a company use social media well as pretty simple - "Virgins former representative on Australian Frequent Flyer. He actively engaged in discussions, most virgin members had met him, and every one trusted him." - thinking here of crazydave...

I found the section asking about interacting with social media reps on AFF a little interesting. I do see Red Roo from time to time, but no where near enough for me to consider them interacting with AFF in a truly meaningful way. Repeated drive by posting is probably what I would consider they do...

Nothing here either. Since I changed my preferences yesterday to receive anything and everything (correspondence-wise) from Qantas I expected a deluge however nothing yet...

Interesting perspective. I would probably rather the chance to win 50K than be given a token 1K - 1K wont make a difference - 50K is a new coffee machine ;)

Giving QF my opinions is why I have always responded to all of the Qantas Advisory Panel requests - it wasn't for the bottle of oil...

I wonder now that I (and the rest of the AFFL16) am known to QF they don't need to canvas my opinion as all they need to do is go here:
