What can we say have to admit have been guilty of critising QF customer service from time to time and now have to eat humble pie and compliment them

Imagine you have travelled Melbourne to Sydney to Hon Kong to Berijing to Novosibirsk ( Siberia ) with a trip time opf over 30 hours inclusive of transfers. The loverly lady in Melbourne tagged our baggage all the way through making life easy for us,

We arrive in Russia temperature Plus 33 degrees C that day and patiently await our baggage that never arrived, Yes we understand it happens from time to time so duely spent the next 3 hours filling in all the forms detailing size weight coulur and value of each item in the suit cases. How many of you could do that :D

We tried to get S7 to follow up where the bages were and when we would get them, well lets just call that a waste of time and effort with the response being wait bags will arrive when they arrive. Took all paperwork with us as started to feel uncomfortable with the looks we were getting for the fully armed security chaps.

Deciding that we would need clothes etc we contacted the QF Plat line and came across an extremely helpful lady ( Whose Name will remain silent, yes selfish of us LOL ) This wonderful lady rang us back and arranged baggage to call us too. Transpires that the nice lady in Melb had incorrectly directed the baggage, oh well mistakes happen. It did take almost 4 days to get our baggage but think with out the service of QF staff we would still be looking for them.

I rang and personally thanked both staff members when we returned and was stunned when the lady in Baggage said to us Right now lets sort out your Emergeny Expenses, as S& had not provided any , and with in minutes it was done WOW. We had our emergency funds confirmed with in 24 hours of us emailing the claim form back SENSATIONAL SERVICE.

The service and communication that was afforded to us by Michael, and if you are reading this you know who you are, was sensational we can not praise her enough.

I most certainly have by talking directly to baggage and also sending in feedback via the website. We are both extremely impressed and are always happy to criticise but even happyier to compliment on a job well done
