I've just received my invite for the 12:30pm to 2pm session. Would like to met up with other AFFers attending any of the Canberra 19th August sessions.

Hi Pete, me aussi. Last year Hossein and I met up, and I hope he got an invite too. We both started looking at all the stands and getting flight info etc and then got together over the S&P Calamari - yum.

Hope to see you there and anyone else at the 1230 session. Don't bother getting there early, as they won't let you in.

Although as a WP you should get one but I guess in CBR they may need to ration the tickets according to some other criteria.

Hi Peter, I think we will find each other easily as there are not that many people there and there is time to look at the exhibits. You, Hossien and I know what we look like, so we can meet up at a stand-up table once the food arrives. Anyone else coming??

We used to get invitations through the company but seeing we have wrapped it up now, looks like we are off the the guest list. Oh well, I never won any of the good prizes though did win a flower display a few years back. It was rather nice.

Thanks GMOH but I will be at work on Wednesday and as I am just about to hand in my notice (as in tomorrow) and will be going on leave next week (South Africa) I don't think it would go down too well if I took several hours off. If the situation had been different I certainly would have liked to attend.

But on the upside, I've just won a $50,000 holiday to New York, to go with the Toyota Kluger I won yesterday, so somebody does love me!
