Hi, firstly my apologies if this question has already been dealt with in another post. Just couldn't find a discussion on this.
I've bought 2 Qantas tickets online for my wife and daughter travelling to Kuala Lumpur in a couple of weeks' time. The first leg of the flight from Sydney (QF81) takes them to Singapore where they have to connect to a codeshared Jetstar Asia flight (QF4238) to KL. Their return trip is also quite similar.
What's not clear is whether their luggages will be checked all the way to KL, or whether they have to collect them in Singapore and re-check them to QF4238. It would make sense to me that the luggages would be checked to their final destination since this should be considered a single itinerary, confirmed by the Jetstar flights having a QF flight number. However, I'm having difficulty finding this detail on the Qantas website.
The 2nd query is whether QF4238 will land at the main KLIA or the budget KLIA2. All it says on their itinerary is "Terminal 2, Kuala Lumpur". I have heard some people say that Terminal 2 is actually KLIA2, but can this be confirmed?
Thanks in advance to anyone who can shed light on this.
