hi, i was looking at travelling on 30th Dec. However I was not able to find any classic award flights on that day from tsv-adl.has anyone had any luck by calling up to have some seats released?

I had a J seat released on the 31st. It took 24 hours, and I am WP which may have helped.

With AAdvantage miles 17.5k in J, this is why I suggest everyone should buy some AA miles for those domestic rainy days.

With AAdvantage there are a few options sitting there on the site from Dec 30 all the way to Jan 4, mostly in J, on Jan 2 AA has flights, QF has none available, seems strange that availability especially in J is far better with AA over this period.
