Qantas and Emirates carry on - Tumi tri-fold garment carrier question

Hi all,

Has anyone had experience with carrying this on as hand luggage in addition to another hand lugage bag?

The Qantas website states that you can bring on a 'non rigid' garment bag, but this has a rigid top portion.

Assume international flight? I've never experienced them care about carry on.

Couldn't imagine this would be an issue if you can fit it in the overhead or hang
