putting aphoto in my profile?

Hi there, how do i go about placing a photo in my profile. i would like to place a photo of my triplet boys there for all to see? Th eplace I am talkign about is when you view a forum reply at the left hand side. I hope someone can help me out please.

taswegian, I only did this once a while ago, but (I think) select 'Forum Actions', then 'Edit Profile', then 'Edit Avatar' to get to the page where you do this. There appear to be restrictions on photo sizes and the like, but have a muck around and see what happens.

There are also "Profile Pictures" which are slightly different. The picture used there will only display when someone looks at your profile.

Ahh... I don't mean to be a wet blanket but.. If I had kids I wouldn't want to put photos of them online because I would be worried about all the crazies.

I know an avatar is tiny and if its the one thing you do it on then fine but I have seen forums where huge pictures of babies and kids are posted. And people who unknowingly post their kids pics on Facebook but fail to tinker with the privacy settings so the whole world can download "Johnny's bathtime".

cheers everyone, information provided helped me work out how to add a photo, photo forthcomign on my posts shortly, once I find a nice one of the critters...
