Spent ages last night trying to attach a photo to a post but it never worked. Basically I'd upload it and attach but it attached nothing.

Any ideas what might be wrong?

Mal,

Looking through the threads this seems to be happening across the board.

I have sent a PM to admin.

Related to this, each time I have posted a trip report, I have run out of space allowance despite reducing photo file size & asking admin for & getting an increase- how do other people get around this?

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Have just heard back from our Server Administrator. As I expected, its related to the issues we had over the week-end.

[For those who are technical (and interested): To address the poor response we were having over the week-end, we increased the RAM on the server. We now need to upgrade the Operating System to make use of this RAM, and are trying to schedule a time convenient to both the Data Centre and Server Administrator so this can be done. In the meantime, mySQL is running entirely in RAM. Thats why AFF is running so fast at the moment! But there are consequences of this - one being the way attachments are handled. Once we upgrade the OS, we will move the database out of RAM and reconfigure. Pheww, hope I got this all right..]

I'm hoping for this to be settled within the next 48 hours. Apologies again for the inconvenience.
