What's the story with the security screening at Brisbane Int?

Previously I have received express passes from checkin but a few weeks ago was told not anymore. But having re qualified recently it still lists express screening as a benefit for gold and platinum.

Is there still a premium security line, or has it been done away with? Obviously, an airline can't give you an express pass for security if there is no longer an express security lane!

There wasn't one yesterday, just the express immigration line but had I realised smart gate was up and running I would have gone there.

Yes there is/was express screening a few weeks back. I was under the impression it was permanent. Express to the left, plebs to the right.

Maybe they do it when busy? I went through early, had the card but not much of a line. Previously have had an express lane.

I think when it's school holidays, it goes to pot at Brisbane airport.

If the boarding lines airside were policed with the same vigor and vigilance as the security lanes, it would be a much different experience.
