Points & SC on flights for CBR-BNE

Hi,

If I was to book a return flight from CBR-BNE direct in Y that would give me a total of 2,000 points + 20 SC.

However, if I was to book thru SYD (ie CBR-SYD-BNE) with different flight numbers for each of the 4 legs booked at the same time thru the qantas booking engine (example below)

CBR-SYD QF1474
SYD-BNE QF530
BNE-SYD QF509
SYD-CBR QF1477

would that give me total 4,000 points + 40 SC?

Grateful if anyone can confirm.

We always go to Brisbane via Sydney in order to maximise Status credits. Mr FM hasn't worked out yet what I am doing - I just tell him it is more cost effective that way - which is sort of true......:mrgreen:
