Hi All,
I have a few questions regarding linking points and purchased tickets. Mrs Chooklegs, 2 1/2 year old chooklegs and infant chooklegs along with myself are planing a trip to Boston next year to see family. We have enough points to either do a return to LAX (or SFO) for all of us and then purchase internal tickets or a return to BOS for the other chookleg family and purchase a return to BOS for me. Can we:
If we just go to LAX (or SFO) on points can we check in at Sydney to BOS using our points tickets and AA internal flight purchase to save recheckin at LAX?
How hard is it to link my purchased ticket with the family points ticket to make sure we sit together if we go with the other choice?
Also when booking with points what is the easiest (and least amount of point loss) to try and request a basinet seat? I know if I call qantas it will cost 5000 points per person.
Thanks for your help in advance
