Platinum Challenge - AA

Quick Question,
Can l do the AA Platinum Challenge here in Oz. I found a link that shows how many miles you earn on OW partners (including Qantas).

If it can be done here, aka, booking a Qantas flight, but using my AA number. Perth to Sydney x2 and a trip from Sydney to Gold Coast should put me over the line using a Red-E deals?

For the Platinum Challenge you need to earn EQPs (points NOT miles) on AA flight numbers (can be codeshares). So flying QF flights with QF flight numbers will not work.
