Hi all,

I need some advice again, I need to go to Boston in late October and have to stop over in Dubai on the way there. I am trying to find the cheapest way to fly PER-DBX-JFK and back to PER (I don't care which way I get home but I need to stop over in Dubai on the way there). Also flying into JFK and not straight into Boston as want to spend a night in New York and then Amtrak it up to Boston.

I would also like to maximise FF points with either EK or SQ.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

EK's cheapest fare PER-DXB-JFK vv. is $2740 (inc. fuel taxes) plus tax.

Being it has several hundred $$ of fuel fines built into the fare price, its still going to work out cheaper than the World Journey RTW fare which is $2679 for 26,500 miles but doesn't include the fuel fines and would obviously not include as many EK sectors.

Thanks TC for that advice, EK was the airline I came up with as well as being the cheapest but wanted to make sure I wasn't missing a cheaper RTW fare option.

Same price ex-brisbane?

The RTW is as its mileage based, but the EK option jumps slightly to $2883 pls taxes (inc fuel fines in fare) pp.

The interesting thing with EK is it's not much less just going to DXB only, and in the case of some Europe fares, its cheaper to buy a PER-DXB-PAR vv. fare for instance and do a stopover in DXB than it is to buy only the PER-DXB fare.

**URGENT**

EK are putting all their fares up from tomorrow, so i'd suggest booking and ticketing today if possible.
