So if you are one of the unlucky ones who did not receive a free upgrade to the PLat card and now cannot get your Gold card to earn QFF points there is a solution.

$118 per year for the card which includes the normal gold card features and there is no direct sweep fee.
Card services is a re branded citibank card, which is funny as the citibank cold card has no QFF option
I'm not sure if thee is a points cap or what it is.
I noticed this on the Qantas website and couldn't see it mentioned here, i figured it will be useful to some.
