Hi,
I am currently booked on EY J ZRH - MEL with overnight in AUH. I found space on QR on ZRH - ADL (the dreadful MEL layover). Unfortunately space is not showing just for MEL.
Since I am using AA miles the mileage reqd is same - 85k pp.
Which option is better?? When flying EY I can stay in a proper hotel in AUH instead of a bench in MEL( I read here that u cannot exit MEL if u have checked luggage which I will as its the end of a 3 week trip).
Also, has anyone tried to sweet talk at check in abt giving boarding pass to MEL and exit there at the check in counter at DOH or wherever u start the journey??
