I have a flight arriving into OOL at 4pm and need to get to Brisbane.
Can any members advise on the best transfer option from OOL-BNE?
Regards
David

Options:

1. Change your flight to BNE
2. Limo transfer about $180
3. Taxi to Varsity Lakes railway station about $60, then Aitrain to BNE
4. Public transport to Varsity Lakes railway station, but it is about three changes of bus.

Good luck!

One of the most dificult transfers in Oz. The suggestions above are the best options...

You could try getting a dirt cheap rental car? You'll need to factor in fuel and the gateway toll charge ($6?), but if theres more than one person, it could work out a lot cheaper!!

Definitely rental car. Even if travelling alone, that still works out easiest.

One bus. Just done it.

Only sensible option (unless you are an oil sheik).

But have to say it is relatively expensive. It costs more than the ticket I've just bought on Virgin Trains from Milton Keynes to Manchester Piccadilly (GBP 9.50).

sounds good.

thanks for your replies.

unfortunately hire car / drive is not an option for me.
my colleauge is hiring a car but heading south for a very long drive ex OOL so a diversion via BNE is no option. ah the wonders of last minute travel plan changes...

It only took you one bus? Which one is this... I've never heard of that, but it would be great.

That's news to me too. But as I live on Route 702, I do not need to know of other options.

Thanks for posting.
