Hi all,
I am looking at utilising a few Virgin vouchers that I have through various credit cards to book flights with SQ through the VA website. I’m looking to book the following:

SYD to HND
ITM to SYD

Looking at the booking website i am able to book the first leg through the multi city option, but the return leg from Osaka is unavailable.

Does anyone know how I get it booked?

OP, I think in your case, maybe the best way is to use the vouchers for VA SYD - HKG, and then pay for the rest with cash, you can do P+P with part vouchers and part cash on VA's flight Aust - HKG, can't you?
That is what I would do if I were in your situation, of using vouchers.
If I were to do P+P with SQ, I would transfer all my VFF points to SQ KF points, at a loss, yes, I understand, and then go ADL (in my case), - SIN, HND.
I could also transfer my SQ KF points to VFF, at a loss of a few thousand points, and do VA ADL - SYD - HKG, and then something like ANA HKG - HND to start building up my SQ KF points balance.
Sorry for the waffle.

I think that for VA's flights, on the VA website, you can't do the booking plan as you have, it would have to be a straight SYD - HKG - HND - HKG - ADL.
You can't on the website do, eg, SYD - HKG - HND, and another city back, HKG - SYD.
You can't also do a one way from HND - HKG - SYD online either.
HKG - SYD/HKG - MEL, yes, on VA's own aircraft, but not any of their partners from Japan to HKG as a starting point, from up there to Aust.
Edit, and sometimes, you think you got what you are looking for, (multi city all work), but then, a big huge red notice comes up *We are unable to find flight options that exactly match...*.
If you play around on the VA website, SYD - HKG - HND, (and then find your own way back from HND to HKG), then HKG - SYD, it comes up a red big notice on the next page.
