No EDR respect from Mr Dam Murphy

Why is it we AFFer's received no Everyday Rewards respect from Dam Murphy's ?
They are a part of Woolworths Group arn't they ?
EDR's are issued at BWS and Woolworths Liquor so why not Dam Murphy's
Mr Dam Murphy's are a fine pruveyors of Spirits Wine and Beer which we all love
So I say to all of you AFFer's lets lobby Mr Dam Murphy to issue EDR's on purchases over $30.00
What do you say AFFer's will you join me in my quest for Dam Murphry to issue EDR's ?

probably because they are so much cheaper than the other stores..

they did allow you to earn points in the runup to xmas a few yrs ago

Yep, I'm 100% behind this noble campaign. AFAIK there has been only a one-off EDR points available at Mr Murphy's and that was for a very limited time a couple of years ago.

Sounds like a worthy cause. Might like to ask Dan Murphy just to increase your chance of success. Personally, if it was a choice between EDR points and cheap booze, I'd take the cheap booze.

The price difference between Dan and BWS is huge - about $8 on a $30 bottle of wine...

WW Liquor can be quite cheap when they run there 25% + 5% discounts - last week Moet was available at $46 bottle - but WW range too narrow so yep I'm aboard the protest train to.

Slightly OT but maybe not - as this post does involve DM's and EDR points.

Cup week usually best week of year to stock up on French Champagne - but current specials I can find less than overwhelming.

Best deal I can see this week is WW Liquor 25 + 5% discount - drops price of Moet from $65.33 to $45.71 min 6 botts buy - yep I'll take 2 doz at that - and I get EDR points.

DM's has Piper Heidsieck at $35.80 for 6 botts - yep I'll have a doz of them also - but no EDR pts. Bolly at $55.90 makes the Moet deal from WW's look even better IMHO

1st choice have G H Mumm at $46.50 6 bott buy - I'll take the Moet from DM's thanks.

Any better deals out there I have missed?

A family member is a Senior Executive at Dan's and it won't be happening in the foreseeable future.

Because of "Nobody Beats Dan's" policy their profit margins are a less that other companies in the Woolworths group. BWS & Dan's use the same supply chain yet if your ever compare the RRP of products between the two, Dan's are way cheaper.

The situation is also compounded by Woolowrths not fully controlling Dan's in each state. The ALH Group has interests in some states and I know QLD staff are employed by ALH Group. You will also find difference in price between states due to ownership. This is also why the new Woolworths hardware company Masters is not in the EDR program, due to joint ownership with US company Lowes.

The EDR promo at Dan's in the run up to Xmas a few years back was during the launch of the EDR.

I only shop at Woolworths Liquor or BWS if there is some sort of targeted bonus points offer OR if they have an exceptionally good in store offer such as 25% off wine + Extra 5% for EDR (This offer works out to be the same prices as available at Dan's but with the extra bonus of some QFF points...!)
