New Night trains in Europe

Pondering one final hurrah (as in longish trip ) probable 2023/2024 with a Europe train trip.
I have noticed that the night trains seem to be making a come back. In 2007 we did a lot of night trains then across Europe
Just wondering anyone has trips planned or been on the new trains recently?

I've been watching a few you tubes for planning my impending train journeys in Europe, the Night jet looks amazing. Unfortunately I couldn't get them to work for my travel.

I've done a few in the past and would again (though not on my next Europe trip). They are generally great fun, and really add to the travel experience (IMO)!

Never tried the Nightjets, but have done the Austrian Railjets, they were quite good, including reasonably priced , reasonable quality catering.

Interrail passes are irrelevant to most Australians, as the appropriate passes for us are Eurailpasses (also valid, since 2019, for rail travel in the UK).

There are a huge variety of passes available: I prefer a global consecutive one, but some will like the more expensive per diem 'X days in a month' types.

The European Rail Timetable (either printed or digital) can be a huge help: it has a website, with my latest print copy quickly arriving from the UK. It's edited by six former staff of the defunct Thomas Cook publishing outfit: they do a superb job.

The European Rail Timetable have also announced their Autumn 2022 timetable, and I'm thinking of ordering it for my upcoming Eurail pass adventures

December/January 1972/3 we had 1st class Eurail passes and would take a nIght trip between major cities to provide accommodation. Back packing has changed.
