Just arrived at the new F Lounge, first trip of the year coming to an end, got 4 hours till boarding,
lounge is much bigger than I thought, decor is light without being bright, lots of seats,but not many here yet.
I was escorted into the lounge by the lovely host at the entry and given a small intro to the lounge, nice , I appreciated it.
Then was greeted by the adorable waitresses big smiles, the lovely Hannah has begun working me through the bubbles and the entrees.
First impressions are fabulous, had 2 entrees, BELGIOIOSO BURRATA a tomato and boccincini (can spell) type salad, probably the best I have ever had.
On to the HAMACHI CRUDO -yellowfin tuna sashimi, really really nice , wow so far the food here is better than Sydney, no I am not drunk. Seriously better.
The Lovely Hannah has forced me to have the staple F Lounge S&P Squid, I tried to offer resistance ,but futile
as usual real good, I never visit the lounge without this and has yet to disappoint
On to main course
Never had the ANGUS MINUTE STEAK before in syd/mel so let's have a go ,
Pretty nice , pretty damn nice
Continually checked upon by the adorable Hannah, I would go out more often if people looked after me like this
I think I'm in love , well it is Valentine s day
Dining room is half full, good atmosphere, almost forgot I have 20+ hours to get home .
Hannah won't let me choose dessert, it's her choice , lol. I will go with it!
Oh almost forgot the grog
I will expose this is my trade.
Sampled all of the sparkling ,mumm, Perrier & Feuillatte Rose, rose wins this battle followed closely by Mumm,

Rodney Strong12 CS - good solid Napa Cab, their is nothing wrong with this choice IMO, I would give it 9/10
Meiomi PN, stunning nose , this is a really good PN, for those that have not have Californian reds, do your self a favour , they are better than you

Last option is a penfolds bin 28, you decide!!!

Chard, nose is banana, think of the little yellow bananas you bought in a lollie bag at school, not to woody ,fresh ,again really nice
Just had a chat with Terry Higgins, works for Rockpool,looks after Q, really enlightening, have to say doing a great job, if you knock what Neil is doing at Q then it is time you flew with someone else.
Ok , dining room 90% full, no stress
I can see why this was given the best lounge in NA
