Hey everyone,

just wondering if anyone is familiar with the new MH piece system of baggage. Flying PER-BKI next week and will definitely be under the 30kg weight limit, but will probably need to take 2 pieces for logistical reasons (both are compact, its not like im trying to ship rolls of bubble wrap :p ). Y class allowance is for 1 piece, however im wondering if anyone has any experience with check in staff leniency or if worst comes to worst the availability of extra pieces for purchase?

Many thanks, AA.

edit: Herp derp, tired me has read North American baggage rules as Australian Baggage rules. If a mod could please delete this thread

Staff were tough on my last flight with them. Made me take stuff out of my carry on rollaboard. Limit is 7kg I was at 8. I've seen them do the same with checked baggage.
